on may 26th, the china electric power planning and design association announced the results of the annual awards for excellent engineering surveying, excellent engineering design, excellent standard design, and excellent computer software in the power industry for 2022. the luoyuan bay project of the chn energy fujian branch won the first prize for "excellent engineering survey" and "excellent engineering design."
this project is the first million-kilowatt coal-fired unit energy-saving and emission reduction upgrade and transformation demonstration project approved by china’s national energy administration. it is a national-level scientific and technological innovation project that integrates engineering design and technical research and development. the project carried out more than 10 major optimization results and saving 300 million yuan in project costs. the project officially started in march 2015 and completed the commissioning of the dual units in april 2022. as of may 28, 2023, the cumulative electricity generation reached 11 billion kilowatt-hours, demonstrating good economic benefits.
