sichuan minhe hydropower investment co., ltd., a branch of china energy, signed a cooperation agreement with panzhihua qinggangping mining co., ltd. on june 15, according to which it earned the right to develop a 20mw photovoltaic project in the latter鈥檚 shejiawan dumping site.
the project, located in miyi county, sichuan province, has an installed capacity of 20mw and a total investment of 110 million yuan. it is the largest distributed photovoltaic power station in the province. with an installed capacity of 5.98mw and an estimated investment of over 32 million yuan, phase i of the project is expected to be put into operation before the end of this year. after the entire project begins operation, it can save 12,000 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 34,000 tons a year, which will contribute to building a clean, safe, low-carbon, and high-efficiency energy system in the region.
