on june 20, the technology to protect information security in wind farm monitoring and control system, developed by the innovation project 鈥淩esearch and application of key technologies for large-scale wind power network security integrated defense system鈥?launched by zhongneng power-tech development co., ltd. under longyuan power, a subsidiary of china energy investment corporation, was officially approved by the national energy administration to become an industry standard. the technology plays a constructive role in guiding the wind power industry to reinforce the capacity to defend network security and diffuse cyberattacks and other risks. it is of great significance for network security in the wind power industry while filling a void in the industry.
since the state council issued the regulations on the protection of key information infrastructure security, great attention has been placed on maintaining energy information security. based on the regulations and its own conditions, longyuan power has standardized specific technical and managerial requirements for wind farm monitoring and control system network safety protection in the dimensions such as physical security, environmental protection, network architecture safety, identity recognition, and data security. by so doing, it has forged a measurable full-lifecycle network security protection standards system, strengthened network safety protection, management and emergency countermeasures, and achieved a shift from qualitative management to quantitative management in terms of network security, thus effectively reducing occurrence of network safety accidents and improving the safety protection capacity of china鈥檚 new energy industry.
