the xuyi 10/20mw lfp energy storage and power generation station of the jiangsu branch of longyuan power under china energy, the first of its kind in jiangsu province, began operation on may 18.

the project is a land wind power storage pilot project under china energy鈥檚 research program on land and offshore wind and solar power storage key commentary technologies and their application. located near the booster station of xuyi wind farm, it consists of eight battery compartments, four booster compartments, and four electric auxiliary compartments. based on the project, longyuan power will carry out several research projects related to the development of wind power storage control strategy and system and the exploration of wind power storage business models. using the data accumulated in the operation of the energy storage station, the company will be able to further explore and verify strategies related to wind power storage coordinated control and new energy transactions such as new energy load tracking and peak load regulation, so to continuously improve new energy utilization efficiency, fill china energy鈥檚 gap in core control technology for wind power storage joint application systems, and boost high-quality development of new-type power systems.
