on november 30, the distributed photovoltaic project of the changzhou branch of jiangsu company under china energy was successfully connected to the grid for power generation. as the first demonstrative project for the model of 鈥渁ffordable access of electricity for factory use to the grid鈥?in jiangsu province, the project has an installed capacity of 9.56 mw, realizing the first in-plant grid connection in the province.

the project started construction on july 26, 2021. after 128 days, the equipment installation, commissioning and grid-connection acceptance were successfully completed, and the system was connected to the grid the first time the test was conducted. the project is estimated to generate 9.788 million kwh of electricity annually, which will save 2,999 tons of standard coal, with considerable environmental benefits.
