based on joint innovative research, the project developed key and core technologies, breaking the bottlenecks hindering the development of indirect coal-to-liquid projects with a capacity as large as 4 million tons a year. major innovations have been achieved in fields like indirect coal-to-liquid theory, key technologies, equipment and materials, engineering enlargement and system assembly technologies, and energy and water saving technologies. the project has formed a set of coal-to-liquid technologies that are replicable. as the world鈥檚 largest indirect coal-to-liquid project with an annual capacity of 400 tons, it achieves 鈥渟afe, stable and clean鈥?nbsp;operation and leads the world in overall technological level.
since the 13th five-year plan period (2016-2020), china energy has won three first prizes and 10 second prizes of the national science and technology progress award, obtained 15,058 patents including 3,618 invention patents, captured 12 chinese patent prizes including two golden prizes, and chaired the formulation of two international standards.
