the coal sample-collecting robot co-developed by shendong coal technology research institute under china energy and china prep. automation completed installation and debugging at the jinjie coal mine loading station and began operation on june 3. it is china energy鈥檚 first mobile train coal sample-collecting robot, which solves long-standing problems such as unsafe, low-efficiency human sample collection that features high labor intensity and big errors, advances intelligent coal sample collection, and promotes intelligent mining.
the sample-collecting robot can work in all-weather conditions and totally replace human operation, with such features as intelligent judgment, dynamic sample collection, automatic sample production, and unmanned operation. it has not only enhanced production efficiency and quality accuracy, but also achieved automatic sample collection in mobile coal-loaded trains. as a new member of shendong鈥檚 robot family, it can improve the representation and authenticity of samples and the reliability of product indexes while enhancing safety and intelligence.
