recently, china鈥檚 ministry of transport approved china energy鈥檚 trial implementation plan for building a country with a strong transportation network. this marked that china energy was officially listed among pilot units for the initiative to build china鈥檚 strength in transportation.
to coordinate and promote the initiative to build china into a great power in transportation, the communist party of china (cpc) central committee and the state council and the ministry of transports issued two documents in august and december 2019, respectively, putting forward the plan to step up pilot programs for implementing the initiative of building china into a country with a strong transportation network by regions, focuses and batches. based on its advantages in intelligent railway technology research and equipment upgrading, intelligent harbors, green port-shipping and modern logistics, the transport arm of china energy formulated a trial implementation plan and submitted it to the ministry of transport for approval in may 2020.
according to the arrangements of the ministry of transport, the transport arm of china energy will leverage its nine projects including 鈥?0,000-ton heavy haul train scheduling plan research and application鈥?nbsp;and 鈥渂ulk cargo terminal full-process dust control technology research and application鈥?nbsp;to fulfill its pilot tasks through rational organization. the goal is to achieve phased results within one to two years, and realize systematic results within three to five years. it aims to make breakthroughs in relevant fields, form a series of typical outcomes that can be spread, improve relevant standards, norms, institutions and mechanisms, and cultivate a group of high-caliber transport professionals, so as to push forward high-quality development of china energy鈥檚 transport business and make contributions to building china into a great power in transportation.
