china energy investment corporation held the third meeting of its poverty alleviation working group in beijing on july 1 to review and analyze the corporation鈥檚 poverty alleviation work in the first half of this year and make arrangements for subsequent tasks in the next phase. it also called for promoting publicity of the company鈥檚 efforts in poverty reduction. gao song, deputy ceo of china energy, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.
in his speech, gao stressed that china energy will ensure the accomplishment of decisive goals in poverty alleviation and continue advancing all work concerning poverty reduction, especially strengthening the supervision of the work supporting two counties that have yet to rise from poverty, so as to ensure high-quality execution of this year鈥檚 poverty alleviation programs. through strictly meeting the requirement of 鈥渘ot withdrawing responsibility, policy, assistance and supervision鈥?concerning poverty alleviation, the corporation will continue advancing the effective alignment between poverty elimination and rural vitalization. he also noted that we should deeply understand the importance of reviewing and publicizing work related to poverty alleviation. in addition to effectively reviewing relevant work, china energy needs to publicize its effort in poverty reduction in an effective way by telling relevant stories, figures and results, so as to further expand the influence of the company鈥檚 actions on social responsibility, gao added.
